Beads of Ability
Beads of Ability
Beads of Ability are made in Uganda by participants of the vocational training program at the Kampala School for the Physically Handicapped (KPSH). They are being sold in Canada to support not only KPSH but also the Rad YAd (Radical Young Adult Program) for young adults with Cerebral Palsy which is being offered by Families of Alberta for Conductive Education (www.Conductive-Education.ca).
By working together, young people in Uganda and in Canada can support each other without charity. Kasenya named them BEADS of ABILITY as a reminder to focus on ability not dis-ability.
